Sowle is a hosted knowledge workspace for software teams. Official documents have a current version. A proposal is how a change becomes official. You use it in the browser. There is nothing to install on your laptop or a private box.

Workspace and roles
Each company gets a workspace. People are admins, editors, or viewers. Admins invite others and can always merge. Editors write and propose. Viewers read and can comment.
Documents in Markdown
Write the way you write a README. The document page shows the current version, who last changed it, and actions: History, Propose change, and Quick edit when the doc is not protected.
Versions on every accepted change
Quick edits and merged proposals both create a version. You can open any version and diff it against the current text. A short note is optional on merge.
A GitHub-like home
The dashboard is counts, open proposals, and recent versions. Check it the way you check a repository home, not a feed of cards.
Not in V1
No AI answers, no cross-org forks, no dependency graphs, no mobile apps, no Slack or GitHub sync. Those are easy to fake on a marketing page. They are not this product yet.
